How it All Began
Our name comes from our sister company in Germany who has been organizing and operating tours around the world since the late 1980s. Seeing a need for an alternative transportation service, the original company was set up as a collective, with every employee having input into the operations.
This company-wide, holistic view from staff helped develop our belief that our tours should offer something for everyone; families, singles, the young and the elderly alike. From the early foundations the tours have been based on sharing educational and cultural exchange while seeing the beautiful back country of the world around us.
In 2004 we started our American company based on these same principles: to offer quality tours we would be proud to share with friends and family while providing a fun alternative to see the lesser known beauties of America.

These same foundations have led to our values and ethics. Our customers are our guests and we take great pride in providing a safe and relaxing ride so you can fully enjoy your trip. Not only do we have a perfect satisfactory record with the United States Department of Transportation (DOT 519776), the California Public Utilities Commission (TCP 25471B), and the California Highway Patrol, but we all love our sweet fleet of two MCI coaches and take exceptional care of them. We design our tours with plenty of travel time between destinations, letting you enjoy the sites along the way and arriving safely to enjoy the days wonders.
Our drivers have an average of 17 years experience in the transportation industry along with excellent safety records and skills developed from driving all over the world. We love to drive and focus on making your tour one of comfort and ease.
Meet Our Staff
As president of our organization, Uli Lehmann is one of the original cofounders of the German company and has over 25 years experience driving, designing, and operating tours and charters throughout Europe, Russia, the United States, Central America, Australia, and Africa.
Our American Operations Manager, Paul Richmond, has been in the alternative transportation business since 1989 operating, driving, and designing tours across the United States, Central America, Canada, and Europe.
Hans Heid has been driving tours in Europe, Africa, the Soviet Union, the Middle East, and the United States since 1992. You can still find him traveling the world.
Chyna Lepley has been driving and operating tours across the United States since 2000. She also has experience with recreational organizations, governmental agencies, and backcountry services.
